Deanna Gives Flare Some Fashion Tips

FLARE: What do you consider when deciding on an outfit for a holiday party?

Deanna Casaluce: First, I always consider the dress code. The worst thing is when you're over or underdressed for an occasion. Second, I think of comfort. I have to be able to dance and sit .. I want to be able to enjoy myself!

F: What is the most important factor in deciding whether an outfit is right or not?

DC: It is very important that I feel great in an outfit. You know; look good, feel great!

F: What is your favourite formal-wear trend this year?

DC: We're going back to fashion that flatters a woman's body: accentuating a real waistline, hugging the hips .. it all looks so wonderful!

F: What..s your advice for hair and makeup?

DC: Keep it simple and natural. I don't trust wearing the colours of the rainbow on my face, unless maybe it's red lipstick for the holidays.

F: What's the most memorable party outfit you've ever worn?

DC: For my prom I designed a dress .. it..s beautiful. It's a super elegant strapless number that's black silk with a high slit up the front so that when I walk, the white silk lining makes an appearance. It puddles on the floor. I'd like to wear it every day if I could.

F: What's the most regrettable formal wear decision you've ever made?

DC: Buying shoes at the last minute and not getting the chance to break them in, ouch!
